Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure has reiterated the government’s push for domestically developed intelligent transport systems (ITS) at the 17th ITS European Congress in Istanbul.
In his keynote address, Ömer Fatih Sayan outlined efforts to reduce reliance on foreign technology in transport and other industries, linking the strategy to Turkey’s geographic position between Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
